Laide Bakare Names and Shares Gorgeous Photos of Her Baby Boy

The Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has shared photos and names of her new born baby. She said‘And he shall be called, Moshopefunoluwa, Abdul Samad, Oluwajomiloju Omo Orilowo. Thank You God, am most grateful.’

Laide Bakare has a daughter with her first husband and another son named Oluwadamilare with her second husband. This will be her third child and second son for her second husband.

PDP Gives Returning Governors Automatic Tickets For 2015

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has announced automatic tickets for its governors seeking second terms in office.
The offer means the governors will have to refuse to run before other candidates are considered.
The only PDP governor seeking a second term is Ibrahim Dakwambo of Gombe State.

While the governors of Kaduna, Taraba and Adamawa States may be seeking re-election, they will be starting their first term as they merely completed the terms of their former governors.
It also emerged Tuesday that President Goodluck Jonathan was only publicly endorsed as the sole candidate of the party after he had been given the right of first refusal.

TB Joshua To Be Arrested, If He Fails To Testify - Coroner Threatens (Synagogue Building Collapse)

A coroner on Wednesday dismissed the arguments of the lawyers of Pastor TB Joshua, that he should not be summoned by the Inquest to testify on the building collapse in his Synagogue Church of All Nations where 116 people died, as he did not witness the collapse.
The Coroner therefore threatened to order the arrest of the cleric if he failed to show up before the Inquest to testify.

These were the words of a 15-year-old girl, who was abducted by Boko Haram and forcibly married to one of its commanders in a camp in the Sambisa Forest, Borno State.

The girl, according to a report by Human Rights Watch, was abducted in 2013 but she escaped after four weeks in captivity.

The war of words between Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and the Presidency took a dramatic turn on Monday as the governor not only threw the toga of rascality back at the Presidency, he reminded it that President Goodluck Jonathan is not his ‘Prefect’.

He also maintained that the Presidency cannot threaten him of sanctions for criticizing the president for not attracting developmental projects to the Rivers.
The Presidency had on Sunday angrily reacted to a claim made by Amaechi that the cause of the sour relationship between him and the Presidency was because President Jonathan hates Rivers people following the ceding of Soku oil wells in Kalabari to Bayelsa State and 40 Etche oil wells also in Rivers to Abia state.

The Nigerian Musician Wizkid was reportedly arrested for smoking weed in Kenya. According to Kenyan publication, the Standard Digital News...

Wizkid was arrested from his Nairobi Crown Plaza hotel room on Saturday afternoon and quizzed by police only hours before his flight back to Lagos.
The arrest was in connection with allegations that he was caught smoking illegal substances.

President Obama Meets and Hugs First Nurse To Contract Ebola In The US (Photos)

So nice, Nurse Nina Pham, the first person to contract Ebola in the US met with president Obama at The White this afternoon where she received a hug from him.

Nina, who contracted Ebola while treating Liberian Thomas Eric Duncan at the Emory University hospital in Texas, is now free from the virus after being successfully treated at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda. When President Obama heard she was Ebola-free, he sent word to her asking if he could hug her and she agreed to meet him. Aww… more picture below.

Photos & How A Nigerian Man Jumped White House fence

Yesterday, a Nigerian man based in Maryland, Dominic Adesanya, (pictured above) has been arrested after jumping the White House Fence. According to police reports, around 7.15pm yesterday Wednesday October 22nd, Adesanya, 23, climbed the fence on the North Lawn of the building and got about 20 yards past the fence before he was taken down by Secret Service and dogs.
He's currently in police custody but is being treated in a hospital for injuries he sustained during the encounter. He was attacked by K.9 dogs.

Sad one, Despite the purported ceasefire, Sixty women were reportedly abducted by suspected members of the deadly Boko Haram sect at Waga Mangoro and Garta villages, both in Adamawa State during a fresh attack.
Whilst 40 women were said to have been abducted from Waga Mangoro, 20 were forcibly uprooted from their homes in Garta.
One of the locals in Garta, Tizhe Kwada, who escaped by a whisker, told Thisday

“The insurgents are still in the area. They slit the throats of three men in Garta and abducted many young women. We also heard from residents of Waga that they killed two men and took 40 women away,”

‘It’s been 10 years (since) I dropped my first album, so Kennis Music and Hypertek Entertainment is about to celebrate (the) 10 years anniversary of my first album ‘Face To Face’ and it’s just about us re-packaging some things about the album’, he said.

Nigeria President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan welcomes today’s declaration by the World Health Organisation (WHO) that Nigeria is now officially Ebola-free after 42 days without any incidence of the Ebola Virus Disease.

President Jonathan dedicates the certification to the many patriotic health workers, volunteers and ordinary Nigerians who worked tirelessly, some of them paying the ultimate price, to stop the deadly virus in its track after it entered the country in July this year.

The ISIS fighters have executed a 17-year-old boy and left his body on display on a cross in Syria.

Pictures being shared online show a banner attached to the teenager’s chest saying the boy has been crucified for taking photos of Isis military bases, as well as receiving “500 Turkish lira” for any footage taken.

Photos: A camel drags, kicks, bits, sits on the owner till he passed on (Too bad)

Lately the American owner of a Mexico wildlife center has been killed by a camel after it escaped from its pen and attacked him.Richard Mileski, 60, was walking through Tulum Monkey Sanctuary yesterday when the animal escaped.It dragged him to the ground and started kicking him, before biting, trampling and finally sitting on top of him.

Despite the best efforts of shocked employees, Mr Mileski died at the scene.

According to Mailonline,Antonio Gomez, a Tulum emergency services spokesman, said:

The Chairman of the Organisation and Mobilisation Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South West, Prince Buruji Kashamu yesterday said that former President Olusegun Obasanjo is morally bankrupt.

Kashamu said this in a statement he issued in Lagos in reaction to Obasanjo’s letter to the leadership of the PDP, in which the former president said he could not work with him because of his alleged criminal past.

Chief Obasanjo had said in the letter that he had no grouse against anybody in his party, but he would not accept a wanted drug baron as the PDP leader in his region, the South West.

With West Africa, and indeed the rest of the world, still reeling from the deaths brought about by the Ebola virus, the recent death of a Ugandan hospital technician of another deadly viral disease, Marburg Haemorrhagic Fever (MHF), has brought fresh fears, Tribune Newspaper reports.

Uganda’s Ministry of Health disclosed that a total of 99 people who had been in contact with the victim had been moved to quarantine. These contacts are being monitored for signs and symptoms of the disease after tests confirmed that the 30-year-old man who worked as a radiographer in a Kampala hospital died of the disease. The man was said to have had a headache, abdominal pains, diarrhoea and vomited blood before he died.
