He was one of the first who made contact with Liberian, Patrick Sawyer.Olu then defied instructions and ran to Port Harcourt to meet late doctor Iyke Enemuo who treated him in a hotel. Shortly after he was treated,he returned to Lagos where he was certified Ebola free.Ironically, Dr Iyke fell ill and died. His wife opened up and his corpse which was taken to a mortuary was tested positive for Ebola.
The late doctor's wife who is infected too is quarantined in Lagos. She has a 3 month old baby. Reports reaching us states that Olu may face manslaughter charges.
